Today we're announcing something big, well, big for us anyway. We've been working on a pricing plan for our Procore Daily Log Bundle - i.e. the ability to log activity in Procore's Daily Log using your voice or short text. It's no exaggeration to say this has been a preoccupation of mine for the last couple of months, and it's a question I've skirted with our users on too many occasions.
So today we're very happy to announce that we're making it COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE. That's right, we're making our Premium Bundle completely free.
We've been going around in circles on this because on the one hand we want to make Nyfty.ai as accessible as possible, but on the other hand we have to make money, at least someday we do. To find the solution we went back to our mission, which is to:
Improve the work life of everybody in Construction through the power and simplicity of voice.
So we asked ourselves a question, how can our pricing model support that mission? In the end we figured we can impact more work lives by making it free, which just leaves one dilemma, how will we make money? We are a business after all.
To answer that question, I need to explain our vision for Nyfty.ai:
We're building an automation platform that orchestrates the jobsite by independently conversing with humans.
We believe the power and simplicity of voice can be used to automate processes and repetitive tasks in a way that has not previously been possible. For example, instead of wasting time chasing contractors to complete Manpower Logs, could Nyfty.ai take care of that for you? Could it contact those people using text or phone and use natural language to converse with them and understand what they say? We believe it can, in fact we know it can because it's what we're working on right now.
Imagine how many conversations Nyfty.ai can have in the same time you can have one. Imagine all of the things you could be doing instead of chasing people for data, or confirming they're still attending site, or inducting them to site or just asking them to update their punch list.
Nyfty.ai will soon have its first Automation, and that is what we'll charge for. Our Voice Assistant is a necessary step towards that ultimate vision, so why not make the Procore Daily Log Bundle free so everybody can benefit. We can also re-assure you that we will never sell your data, in fact, our Privacy policy is back to back with Procore's, so there's no way we could do that.
