Seamless Access to Procore and Autodesk with QR Codes and Text Messages
The Nyfty Bots leverage the simplicity of QR Codes and the ubiquity of text messages to ensure that everyone on your site can get the information they need, right when they need it. Here’s how it works:
1. QR Forms and Inspections Bot
For those spontaneous needs, our QR Forms and Inspections Bot is perfect. Workers can simply scan a QR code to access the necessary Procore Forms and Inspections on an ad-hoc basis. They simply send a text message to the number embedded in the QR Code. There's no need for prior set-up or login - just scan and go.
2. Automated Forms and Inspections Bot
Note the teeny difference in the name - QR F & I Bot versus Automated F & I Bot
Our Automated Forms and Inspections Bot is for more structured processes and can take care of making sure people complete Forms and Inspections. It doesn't wait for them to ask, instead it can send out forms and inspections automatically, either to a pre-defined list of people based on a schedule, or to specific roles when they check in to your site. This ensures that all necessary forms are completed promptly and efficiently, without manual intervention and without causing humans headaches!
This Bot gets added to an Attendance Bot or QR Enrolment Bot, so it can figure out who on site needs to complete Forms or Inspections, according to your criteria, then automatically sends them via text mesage.
3. Ad-Hoc Forms and Inspections Bot
We're going to have to think of better naming conventions! This new variant of the Forms & Inspections Bots can be added to an Attendance Bot / or QR Enrolment Bot, but instead of automatically sending Forms / Inspections, it waits for somebody to scan the Attendance Bot / Enrolment Bot's check-in QR Code and then sends them a link to a list of Forms and / or inspections that are available to be completed.
Reminders and Alerts
To keep everything on track, Nyfty sends text message reminders to workers in order to round up all automated or scheduled forms and inspections. This ensures timely completion and keeps your project moving smoothly.
But we don’t stop there—our system can also detect any non-conforming responses in these forms and inspections. When this happens, a text message alert is sent to your site team to inform them of the issue, allowing for immediate action.
Leveraging Procore Templates
We understand the importance of consistency and efficiency and we know you don't have time to waste on updating existing templates so you can get started with new processes.
All templates used in our system can be sourced directly from Procore. This means you won’t have to recreate anything from scratch — just use your existing Procore templates and get going.
Leveraging Autodesk Templates
We're in the process of adding support for Autodesk Templates. Currently the Autodesk API doesn't provide sufficient information to do this, but we're working with them on this.
In the meantime, we're putting together a 'bit of magic' to get this information so you won’t have to recreate anything from scratch. Contact us to discuss using your Autodesk templates.
Comprehensive Records in Procore or Autodesk
All completed forms and inspections are saved back into Procore, whether as Inspections, Forms, or in the Documents tool, or to Autodesk Files. Nyfty also enhances communication by writing a note in the Daily Log for every form and inspection completed each day, keeping everyone informed and up-to-date.
