***Spanish Language Update - 7 July 2021***
Now, as well as users being able to choose if they want to converse with Nyfty in Spanish, they can also experience the UI in Spanish. The only exception to Nyfty's Spanish translation is the console, which remains in English.
The little Nyfty Bots have been very busy studying over the past few months and have added Spanish to their language capabilities.
Now, users can choose if they want to use Nyfty in English or Spanish. They can set this themselves and, once set, it will start working over all of their Bots. The Bots will message the user in Spanish, the user can then respond in Spanish and Nyfty will translate to English.
We are very excited to announce this functionality as we want all workers to have the best possible experience using Nyfty, not just those whose first language is English. And now the busy little Bots have Spanish under their belts, they are back in study hall, learning more languages which we will release soon.
How do I get started?
There are different ways to activate Nyfty in Spanish:
When checking in to Attendance Bot, workers can say "Comienzo" instead of "Start".
During or after a conversion with Attendance Bot, workers can say "Español" and Nyfty will switch to Spanish and resend the most recent message.
When clicking a link sent by Nyfty, users can change to Spanish by clicking the language button at the top of the screen.
You can help workers change to the Spanish version by using the new Spanish QR Code in Attendance Bot's config for your signage. When the Spanish QR Code is scanned Attendance Bot automatically changes Nyfty to Spanish.
Once users have switched to Spanish on one Bot, this will apply to all Bots.

When a user selects Spanish, it is Nyfty's SMS conversations that are translated to Spanish. The only difference in Procore is with Manpower Bot. This translates progress comments made in Spanish into English, and both versions are saved to Procore's Daily Log. Broadcast Bot will also translate your messages for Spanish recipients.
In Bots that have custom messages, like Health Survey and Inspections Bot, these messages aren't automatically translated, so when configuring these Bots you should continue to write an English and Spanish version.
We have also added Spanish to the user interface elements that are access by clicking a link Nyfty sends to a user.
We would love to hear what you, or any members of your team, think of the new language functionality.
